Club Membership Information

CISC membership must be renewed annually as well as being an U.S. Figure skating member; both renewed through the club before July 1st for the following season. Skaters must maintain both memberships to contract and/ or to “walk-on” during club ice sessions.  

Club Season – The Club season will run for 32 weeks typically running from September to May.
 

Club Sessions: Club sessions are 30 minutes in length, with 10 sessions offered each week, subject to the rink schedule.
 

Membership Options-

Full Club membership: This member is under the age of 18 years; This membership contracts for 120 total sessions of ice time for the season.  

Unused sessions do not roll over to the following season. *

Introductory Full Club Membership: This one-time membership opportunity is available to Center Ice Learn to Skate (LTS) students who are interested in joining Club. Members receive a total of 60 ice time sessions and may upgrade to a Full Club Membership during the same season.

This membership is available to LTS students who have successfully completed Basic 5 or higher and have been recommended for Club membership. Please contact the LTS Director or a board member for more information.

Adult Non-Collegiate Membership: Members are 18 years or older and are not eligible for collegiate membership. Adult membership contracts 60 total sessions of ice time.

Collegiate Membership: A four-year Full Club Membership for college-aged skaters who were previously Full Club Members with any club. No ice contract is required. Members may pre-purchase ice at the discounted member rate or walk on at the walk-on rate (space permitting) while retaining all Full Club Member benefits.  *

*Additional sessions may be contracted for an additional fee as space permits.

Walk-On Sessions: All Club ice sessions are available for walk-on skating, space permitting with a maximum of 24 skaters per session. Priority is given in the following order: 1) Full Club Members (Full/Introductory), 2) Collegiate Members, 

3) Associate Members.

Sessions may be purchased in half-hour increments at the current contract rate, regardless of membership type. Walk-on fees must be paid to the ice monitor by exact cash or check payable to Center Ice Skating Club.

The Club Board reserves the right, at any time during the Season and for any reason, to modify the schedule or change eligibility requirements or restrictions for any session. 

Registration Fee: The full Registration Fee is due with the membership application. It covers the Cleveland Council fee per skater and Club administrative expenses, including business, legal, copying, and postage costs.

The Registration Fee is $90 for the first Full Club Member in a family and $70 for the second Full Club Member.

Payment Contracts: Contracted Club payments must follow the assigned payment schedule. A $25 late fee will automatically be applied to accounts with overdue payments. If you have a payment concern, please contact the Club Board before the payment due date.

Membership Accounts: After purchasing ice sessions, each skater will receive an online Entryeeze account to track contracted sessions for the season. Sessions will be deducted as they are used. Once all contracted sessions have been used, additional sessions may be purchased through the Entryeeze account.

Parent Participation

Our Club events rely on “Parent Power!” Parents are required to volunteer at least 5 hours for Full Club Membership or 3 hours for Introductory Club Membership during the season. A variety of volunteer opportunities will be available throughout the year.

Note: A $25 per hour volunteer fee will be added to your Club statement and credited as volunteer hours are completed. Any remaining balance for uncompleted hours will be due by the end of the season.

Ice Monitors

Parents who volunteer as Ice Monitors receive one ice voucher for every four sessions monitored. Contact the Head Monitor for training. Ice Monitors must complete U.S. Figure Skating SafeSport and Concussion training. 

Please note: Because Ice Monitors receive ice vouchers, this position does not count toward volunteer hours.
